After a break of several weeks, I’m back. This time with a new (sub)project which will be part of the farm diorama I’m working on.
This is going to be an old farm pickup, based on a ’64 Chevy C10 Pickup Fleetside in 1:25 scale from Revell. I decided to improve many things on this kit, such as opening the doors, cut and rebuild the be fender’s interior and a few more things.
Here a few pics of the door cutting and frame making process.
After cutting the doors, the door frame needs to be built from scratch. It might look complicated, it’s but a very straight forward process using several layers of styrene sheets (o,5 mm and 1 mm )
Hallo SEB,
Toll sieht der Türrahmen aus!
Hi SEB,
Beautiful doorframe!
Hi Jonas, thanks for the comment. I’m working on the door details and the hinges now, more soon.

Hi Richard, I appreciate the feedback!
Nice project. But I have a question… how to make open door like a lamborghini aventador? A wing open door… . please, i need your help… .
Thanks… .
Hi Budhi, I have no idea, I’ve never done that. Find pictures of the real lamborghini hinges and replicate them in scale. That should work.
LUV ALL THE WORKS OF SCALE ART.THE TUTORIALS ARE GREAT AND THE VINTAGE ASPECTS ARE AWESOME. THANX FOR EVERYTHING
