From our readers – Marco’s 1/16 1917 Fordson Model F tractor

June 1, 2012

It’s only about us in this blog, but also about you, the readers. Marco, from France, has been working on his 1/16 1917 Fordson Model F diecast tractor (Universal Hobbies) and made a terrific job rusting and weathering the model.

He removed the paint with stripper, applied Sophisticated finishes for the rust and a few pigments for detailing and weathering. He used wire and clay for the tree and celluclay, pva glue and acrylic paint for the soil. For further detailing he used Joefix leaves and dirt from his own backyard. Check the pictures. They speak for themselves.
