During my recent holidays in Argentina we went to visit our grandma on the countryside. On the way we made a short stop to take some pictures of this vintage gas station turned into a junkyard (desarmadero), tire repair shop (gomería) and garage (taller).
As it’s normal in Argentina, I’ve found an interesting mix of European and American cars. Among the last pictures you’ll find a tire repair shop (gomería)… a great inspiration for a small diorama.
For those of you in Argentina that would like to visit this place, it is located in Bernardo Larroudé, 520 kms from Buenos Aires along the route 188. As a gearhead guy take into account that, beside this place, there is almost nothing interesting for you to see on the way there.
Enjoy the pics!

No kidding a junk yard, but I bet there are some good fixes in that yard
