The other day we had great weather here in The Netherlands, which is not common, so I decided it was a great opportunity for shooting great pictures of my good old 1980 Ford Granada MKII.
I took pics at different locations, but the best pictures were taken at a neighborhood that’s being demolished. The whole scene of half demolished houses and heavy machinery made a great background for the old Ford with a warm orange shading sunset sunlight.
Enjoy the pics!

Great stuff! You’re right about the background. Love the pic of the window as the frame for the car. What do you shoot with? Again, great eye and great shots.
Hi Chris, Thanks for the feedback. I shoot with a quite normal compact camera, a Panasonic DMC-FS30. Every time I’m really surprised about the quality of the pics from this little thing. Just great. Most of my pics here on the blog are taken with this camera.
thanks guys, awesome pictures, always look forward to your newsletters you always have new and different stuffto see and read….keep up the good work….
HI Ron, we do our best! and we’ll keep doing it!
Great pics, never been to your counry but, a lot of the bak ground looks like it could have been shot here, (Connecticut, US) . The CAT on tires, see a lot of those here. Enjoy your stuff, keep it comin.
Hi Paul, my brother and I want some day to make a road trip through the U.S. … maybe we get to see Connecticut as well
The CATs are from a local demolition company. That’s what was going on there.
Your Granada is exactly like our Australian 1980 XD Falcon except that our car is right hand drive, if U like I will send U a photo so U can compare BUT U are going to be blown away that Ford Australia used that vehicle and made it a litle bigger for Australian conditions. Great car though and as strong as nails here in Oz, it’s a car used and sort after by our Aboriginal people as it is so easy to work on and there are many many spares for it here.
Cool. I think I saw and australian Granada on the internet. Anyway, send me a few pics if you like. info (at) modeljunkyard.com
