New England’s Rusted Gems – Pics By Bruce

November 13, 2011

Since we started with Modeljunkyard and specially with this blog, we got to know many new people who share the same passion for cars, and in many cases, junk cars. Bruce has been sharing his pics with me a while now and now, I want to share them with the rest of you.

This V8 Flathead is one of the pics I like the most. As you can see, Bruce adds some touch to the pics after shooting them. The colors look really bright and shapes seem to jump out of the pic!

This 55 Ford Fairlane is also a very cool one! Specially because my brother owns a 55 Fairlane like this himself! I like the rust flowing down the hood. This is really a big inspiration for building junk model cars and applying weathering techniques!

This one seems to be in a better shape. It looks like a really fun ride! I like the doors (note that the rear doors open like “suicide doors”).

Thanks Bruce for sharing this pics with us! I’m sure we can all take many ideas from these!

Woke up this morning, made my herb tea, sat down to review my emails and see your message. Upon opening it, to my total surprise, are images that I shared with you from the beginning of the year. You made my day and I thank you for offering them to your audience. Stay tuned as I have more coming very soon. Again, it’s a pleasure to share with you as you do with all of “rust heads.” out there.
